The Young Leaders Circle has agreed to invest $8 million over the next five years to help fund the CHU Sainte-Justine's Centre of Excellence for Neonatal Intensive Care.

ABOUT CHU SAINTE-JUSTINE

The CHU Sainte-Justine is the largest mother-child university hospital centre in Canada and the second most important pediatric centre in North America (Dallas (737 beds), CHUSJ (484 beds), Atlanta et Philadelphia (430 beds each). It is a member of the Réseau d'excellence en santé of the Université de Montréal (RUIS). Its team is composed of 5 153 employees, including 1 392 nurses and auxiliary nurses; 1 036 health care professionals; 520 doctors, dentists and pharmacists; more than 250 researchers; 300 volunteers; and 3 400 interns and students of all disciplines. It has 484 beds, 35 of which are located at the Centre de réadaptation Marie Enfant, the only pediatric rehabilitation centre in Quebec. The WHO has accredited the CHU Sainte-Justine as a "Health Promoting Hospital."
