Hello family and friends,

I am very excited to be participating in the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation’s Urban Duathlon supporting the establishment of Sainte-Justine’s future Centre of Excellence for Neonatal Intensive Care. This wonderful cause is very important to me and I would love your help in reaching my fundraising goal.

Unique in its kind, this Centre will accelerate research aimed at ensuring more newborns survive without complications. It will offer new, more personalized approaches to treatment and a continuum of care for each child from the time of birth though to adulthood.

I decided to participate because I want to make a difference in the life of children who require specialized care. To do that I need your help! Your donation will have a concrete impact on the lives of these children and their families. Until 2018,  and with your help, the Young Leader’s Circle, which organizes the Urban Duathlon and five other fundraising events, hopes to raise $8M  to finance the Centre.

In order to maximize the funds we raise for Sainte-Justine this year, my team is participating in the Urban Duathlon’s Yellow Jacket Charity Challenge. The challenge is simple: the team that raises the most money will win The Yellow Jacket Award  which they can proudly wear at the and of the Urban Duathlon.

Our team has decided to do everything we can to support the CHU Sainte-Justine and so we have our sights set on winning The Yellow Jacket.
